About the Video Topic Series
The Art of Resilience is a three-part video topic series highlighting the power of art and the creative process in building resilience amongst survivors of traumatic events. The series chronicles the journeys of talented and impactful artists who use their art to tell their story to inspire others. Each testimony in this series illustrates how art reaffirms shared humanity by celebrating culture, identity and survival.

Grades: 3-5
Lead students in a rich discussion around the meaning of resilience, while incorporating student experiences and diverse historical examples. This guide includes a structure for whole group discussion, prompts for small-group discussion, historical analysis and an art-driven reflection.
